Method 2: Check the Engine Code

The engine code is a unique identifier that is assigned to each engine type. You can find the engine code on a sticker located on the engine itself, or in the owner’s manual.

Once you have the engine code, you can look it up online to find the engine size. You can also contact the vehicle manufacturer to get more information.

Method 3: Measure the Engine Displacement

If you can’t find the engine size by using the VIN or the engine code, you can measure the engine displacement. This is a more complex process, but it is the most accurate way to determine the engine size.

To measure the engine displacement, you will need to use a set of calipers. First, remove the spark plugs from the engine. Then, insert the calipers into the spark plug holes and measure the distance between the top of the piston and the bottom of the cylinder head.

Once you have measured the distance, multiply it by the number of cylinders in the engine. This will give you the engine displacement in cubic centimeters (cc).
