Mission

The Cornell Engineering Career Center (ECC) is a resource for Cornell Engineering students and alumni in their pursuit of careers. The ECC provides a variety of services, including:

  • Career counseling and advising
  • Resume and cover letter writing workshops
  • Mock interviews
  • Networking events
  • Job fairs

Services

Career Counseling and Advising

The ECC offers one-on-one career counseling and advising appointments to help students and alumni explore their career options, develop their career plans, and prepare for the job search process.

Resume and Cover Letter Writing Workshops

The ECC offers resume and cover letter writing workshops to help students and alumni create effective job search materials.

Mock Interviews

The ECC offers mock interviews to help students and alumni practice their interviewing skills and prepare for real-world job interviews.

Networking Events

The ECC hosts a variety of networking events throughout the year, including industry receptions, company visits, and alumni networking events.

Job Fairs

The ECC hosts two major job fairs each year: the Engineering Career Fair in the fall and the Senior Design Expo in the spring. These job fairs attract hundreds of employers from a variety of industries, including technology, finance, consulting, and manufacturing.
