How to Turn Off Car Engine
Step 1: Park the Car
Before you can turn off the car engine, you need to park the car. This means finding a safe place to pull over, such as a parking space or the side of the road. Once you have found a safe place to park, put the car in park and engage the parking brake.
Step 2: Turn Off the Key
Once the car is parked, you can turn off the key. To do this, simply turn the key to the “off” position. You will hear the engine stop running.
Step 3: Remove the Key
Once the engine has stopped running, you can remove the key from the ignition. To do this, simply pull the key out of the ignition cylinder.
Step 4: Exit the Car
Once the key has been removed, you can exit the car. Be sure to close the door behind you to prevent the car from rolling away.
