How to Make a Paper Car Engine

Paper Car Engine

Materials

  • A sheet of paper
  • A pencil
  • A pair of scissors
  • A ruler
  • A toothpick
  • A small piece of cardboard

Instructions

Step 1: Draw the car body

Start by drawing a rectangle on the paper. This will be the body of the car.

Step 2: Draw the wheels

Next, draw two circles on the paper. These will be the wheels of the car.

Step 3: Cut out the car body

Use the scissors to cut out the car body.

Step 4: Cut out the wheels

Use the scissors to cut out the wheels.

Step 5: Attach the wheels to the car body

Use the toothpick to attach the wheels to the car body. Insert the toothpick through the center of each wheel and then into the body of the car.

Step 6: Make the engine

To make the engine, cut a small piece of cardboard into a rectangle. The rectangle should be about 2 inches long and 1 inch wide.

Fold the rectangle in half lengthwise.

Cut a small slit in the center of the rectangle.

Insert the toothpick into the slit.

Step 7: Attach the engine to the car body

Use the glue to attach the engine to the car body.

Finished!

Your paper car engine is now complete. To make the car move, simply blow into the engine.
