How to Build a RC Car with IC Engine

Materials

• 1/10 scale RC car chassis
• IC engine (2.5cc – 3.5cc)
• Fuel tank
• Fuel lines
• Air filter
• Muffler
• Glow plug
• Starter box
• Radio system
• Steering servo
• Throttle servo
• Tools

Instructions

1. Mount the IC Engine

1. Place the IC engine on the chassis and secure it using the included mounting bolts.
2. Attach the fuel tank to the chassis and connect it to the engine using the fuel lines.
3. Install the air filter on the engine.
4. Install the muffler on the engine.
5. Install the glow plug in the engine.

2. Install the Radio System

1. Install the receiver on the chassis and secure it using the included mounting bolts.
2. Connect the servos to the receiver.
3. Install the steering servo on the chassis and connect it to the steering linkage.
4. Install the throttle servo on the chassis and connect it to the throttle linkage.

3. Tune the Engine

1. Start the engine using the starter box.
2. Adjust the carburetor settings until the engine runs smoothly.
3. Allow the engine to cool down.
4. Check the spark plug and make sure it is clean.

4. Test Drive

1. Start the engine and let it warm up.
2. Slowly drive the car forward and backward to test the steering and throttle.
3. Make any necessary adjustments to the steering and throttle settings.

Tips

• Use a high-quality fuel with a low nitro content.
• Keep the engine clean and well-maintained.
• Never run the engine at full throttle for extended periods of time.
• Be careful when handling the engine, as it can get very hot.
