Car Mechanic Simulator 2018: How to Put Oil in Engine

Step 1: Gather your materials.

You will need the following materials to put oil in your engine:

* New oil filter
* New oil
* Funnel
* Rags
* Oil pan

Step 2: Locate the oil pan.

The oil pan is located at the bottom of the engine. It is usually a black or silver metal pan.

Step 3: Remove the oil drain plug.

The oil drain plug is located at the bottom of the oil pan. It is usually a 17mm bolt.

Step 4: Drain the old oil.

Place the oil pan under the oil drain plug. Slowly loosen the oil drain plug and allow the old oil to drain into the pan. Be careful not to get any oil on yourself or your clothes.

Step 5: Replace the oil drain plug.

Once the old oil has drained, replace the oil drain plug. Tighten the plug until it is snug.

Step 6: Locate the oil filter.

The oil filter is located near the top of the engine. It is usually a black or silver cylinder with a rubber gasket.

Step 7: Remove the oil filter.

Use an oil filter wrench to loosen the oil filter. Be careful not to spill any oil.

Step 8: Apply a thin layer of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.

This will help to create a seal and prevent leaks.

Step 9: Screw on the new oil filter by hand.

Tighten the oil filter until it is snug. Do not overtighten the oil filter.

Step 10: Add new oil to the engine.

Use a funnel to add new oil to the engine. The amount of oil you need to add will vary depending on your vehicle. Consult your owner’s manual for the correct amount of oil.

Step 11: Check the oil level.

Once you have added new oil to the engine, check the oil level. The oil level should be between the “min” and “max” marks on the dipstick.

Step 12: Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes.

This will allow the oil to circulate through the engine.

Step 13: Check for leaks.

Once the engine has been running for a few minutes, check for leaks. If you see any leaks, tighten the oil drain plug or oil filter until the leaks stop.
